Someone here invested something like 20-30k in a shitcoin, it went up to more than 1M, then back down to his initial investment. Take profits is easy to say but greed is a hard thing to fight. The best thing might be to set some very strict goals for when to take profits and hope that when you reach them, you’ll listen to your old self and act upon those goals.

The problem is that often they’re misleading on what really happened and say they’ve been hacked, or that they’ve clicked on the wrong link. But usually they’ve made a bigger mistake than that and don’t want to admit it. It’s a shame because it prevents people from learning, and it creates a senseless fear that you can lose all your crypto for one second of inattention.
