Here are the videos: [https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFtsWUvuK28WwGAOTrYMpMK5\_\_2q0MCDF](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFtsWUvuK28WwGAOTrYMpMK5__2q0MCDF) Here are the 34 talks from the marathon 17.5-hour ForkDay Anniversary livestream I conceptualized, planned, organized and ran as a volunteer for [BitcoinCash.org](https://BitcoinCash.org) on 1 Aug 2020. [https://2020.bitcoincash.org/](https://2020.bitcoincash.org/) There are some real gems here. So please download them using a tool like [https://www.clipconverter.cc/](https://www.clipconverter.cc/) because Antony Zegers of Bitcoin ABC has served me with notice he considers the videos to be property of Bitcoin ABC and will sue me to cause me to take them down. [https://smallpdf.com/shared#st=381cbc43-6fbc-4ccd-9620-918950910b7b&fn=Cease+and+Desist+-+George+Donnelly+-+2020-09-09.pdf&ct=1599833542476&tl=share-document&rf=link](https://smallpdf.com/shared#st=381cbc43-6fbc-4ccd-9620-918950910b7b&fn=Cease+and+Desist+-+George+Donnelly+-+2020-09-09.pdf&ct=1599833542476&tl=share-document&rf=link) In defense of Antony and Bitcoin ABC, I received a salary as an employee of ABC until the day before the event, the event was livestreamed on their [BitcoinCash.org](https://BitcoinCash.org) YouTube channel and they contributed funds to permit me to upgrade my Zoom account, where the event was held, during the time of the livestreaming. I waited 5 weeks for them to release videos and they seem to be very selective at best. I went out and got all these people to join BITCOIN CASH for this event, not Bitcoin ABC. So I feel it is my responsibility to put these videos out there and fulfill my responsibilities — even if I can only keep them up briefly. The videos will likely have to come down unless Antony and Amaury realize how self-destructive this legal threat of theirs is. Even if the videos come down, I will run another event like this on 1 Nov. We will do it even better and the videos from that event will be released into the public domain for all to use. EDIT: The last 3 are still exporting and I will upload them as soon as possible.

Kind of old talking point now. With 82% of hashrate signaling for BCHN and 0% signaling for ABC, Amaury/Bitcoin ABC are officially irrelevant. Let's focus on building now. Time to move forward.

This is creative, daring, bold and ingenious. Kudos! Generating news coverage is flashy. It's important. Let's not underestimate that. My question is, what happens after the news coverage? I have given out large amounts of crypto (in small denominations) to thousands of regular people across 8 nations, 20 cities and 3 continents - and never for free. They always had to give me something, usually their contact info (verified by opt-in email for example) and 15 minutes to learn something. I also gave it 95% of the time in close proximity to a merchant. What comes after the flash? Where is the learning program? Where is the marketing funnel? Where is the effort to help people understand so they do not reflexively and unthinkingly exchange the BCH for fiat? Thanks for your work here! Impressive!

Love it. This is helpful. But the titling is misleading. Maybe call it "Bitcoin BTC" or "Bitcoin Core BTC". Otherwise a newbie is going to wonder why they would want to turn off Bitcoin in a Bitcoin wallet. Like turning off email in an email client. What would be the point without it? Also Bitcoin BTC still shows up in the asset distribution after disabling it

>for *most* transactions, I think Bitcoin is fine Actually Bitcoin Core BTC is not able to handle the most transactions, so that seems false on its face. Bitcoin Core BTC has great liquidity. That's what it has going for it. Little else. And notice how he says "off-chain transactions". What does that even mean? Strikes me as a cover for some unpleasant hack he was able to undertake that most would not be able to. We are building Bitcoin for MOST people, right? Right?

>the only transaction that can be censored, is a double spend Which is proof of stake overruling proof of work. Amaury's idea also includes using avalanche to reject "turbo blocks". So, if blocks and transactions can be rejected by the new PoS layer, it just begs the question of what can't that layer do?

Avalanche sounds great but I personally remain unconvinced especially because as proposed by Amaury Séchet it would create a proof of stake layer that would be able to overrule proof of work. >If BCHN wins its war Amaury declared the war on Bitcoin Cash, not BCHN, and is losing it all by his lonesome.

The BMP permits hashpower, and not just pools but (soon?) individual miners, to express themselves with a perfect signal-to-noise ratio "in 4K HD" so to speak since they can chat and participate in polls with the perfect reflection of their contributed hashpower from the past 4,032 Bitcoin Cash blocks (28 days). >I think it would be more effective to work on getting pools engaged in the first place than selling tools to them that they are not asking for I believe that making pools and miners aware of the BMP is a first step towards getting them engaged. If I go to them and say, hey, be engaged! They will be like, ok but how? Social media? Writing blog posts? The BMP gives them a simple, low barrier to entry, on-chain, demonstrably valid method to begin to feel more comfortable with playing a more active role. > Your focus on BMP is a mystery to me I believe that one of the earliest building blocks of effective coordination is communication. The BMP permits miners to communicate clearly. It's that simple. I also support more effective communication tools for other stakeholders. It's not uncommon to run stress tests. We could announce it loudly and clearly and run it for a limited time, then use the results for PR.

Acc to https://bitinfocharts.com/, there were about 327,000 transactions in the last 24 hours on BTC. Acc to https://bitcoinfees.cash/, the median BCH fee is $0.0009. So it would cost roughly $294.30 per day. So that part of it would be inexpensive.

I could show you my YouTube channel with 71 videos of livestreams involving showing off the work of more than 100 BCH builders but your pal Amaury censored it with a copyright claim. [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDFNiWpExuXx1j51hPb8WLQ](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDFNiWpExuXx1j51hPb8WLQ) This one is still online and shows off quite a lot of my building: [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjizxJYH0K7oYhW6gQ9iG4g](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjizxJYH0K7oYhW6gQ9iG4g) >EDIT You're referencing a project that is under construction. >Bitcoin ABC going to obtain the BCH ticker? The plutocratic nightmare plan of Amaury's Bitcoin ABC is not Bitcoin Cash, not even close. The Bitcoin Cash BCH protocol known by miners, exchanges and others for years continues without Amaury. >they are the most used node of BCH? Not anymore, not even close. https://cash.coin.dance/blocks > maybe better just to pay the developers instead of another coin split? People with a mission and ethics will never give in to this extortion attempt.

Nothing stops Amaury from taking outside funds on top of his 8%. In fact, having that 8% guaranteed gives him the resources to woo outside investors very effectively. It is a permanent cash flow that would look quite attractive to financiers as collateral, in fact.

Amaury's plutocratic nightmare directly threatens what I am building. So I will continue to oppose it as part of my building, and my work to protect the projects and people my building projects rely on. You guys can block me on twitter and read.cash, eject me from WeChat groups and use copyright law to censor 71 BCH building videos of mine on YouTube. But you can never silence the truth. What I am building is plain to anyone who is watching Bitcoin Cash. If it's not clear to anyone, you can reach out any time to [https://t.me/georgedonnelly](https://t.me/georgedonnelly). I would love to talk.

I don't doubt Roger at all but I also see no signs he has produced such a video. Tim seems to be afraid to associate himself with BCH in public right now and I don't have direct comms with him, so it would have to be pretty high for me to undertake the effort. Maybe it would be easier for someone else, not sure.

>why do we keep fighting? Clearly for the 8% because I am not fighting. I am building. >We believe Bitcoin Cash is a technology that has the ability to change the course of humanity. The goal is to serve humanity, not change it. Service requires humility and cooperation. >BCH isn't just competing with other cryptocurrencies. We are competing with national governments, and banks, and mega corporations like Facebook and Visa We are not some corporation competing with other corporations. This would be a simplistic and surface-level understanding of what is happening here. >we now have the ability to create money that can't be controlled by anyone ... except Amaury. This is a transparent attempt to wrap Team ABC in the Bitcoin Cash flag.

All human relationships come with strings attached and that's good because those are market-based limits we place on each other, a complex web of checks and balances that keeps us all in line. You don't get to have your cake and eat it, too. Your argument is inherently statist because you are saying you want money with "no expectations". Sorry, pal, that's not how free trade works. That's not liberty. You want all the power with none of the accountability.
